WHAT IT IS

Light bulbs can be found in different shapes and compositions, resulting in varied materials to be recycled for each product.

Light bulbs with a short lifespan are discarded more frequently.

Industrial, business, and commercial establishments are responsible for the highest consumption and disposal of light bulbs.

PRECAUTIONS

Fluorescent bulbs contain mercury vapor inside, so they should be discarded intact, without breaking.

Manufacturers recommend using the original packaging. In case of accidental breakage, the area should be ventilated, and animals and children should be removed from the area during cleanup.

It is recommended to use a vacuum cleaner to remove smaller particles. Ensure the material is stored in a way that prevents contamination and injury from broken glass.

Cardboard boxes, PET bottles, or other plastics can be used for storage.
