Air conditioners should not be treated as ordinary scrap
Climate control units may contain refrigerant fluid, oil, a compressor, circuit boards and metals. De-installation, refrigerant recovery and physical removal are distinct stages and must be declared in the scope.
Equipment we assess
- Split systems, condensing and evaporator units;
- Window and portable units;
- Evaporative coolers, water dispensers and related equipment;
- Corporate lots arising from refurbishments and decommissioning projects.
Before you enquire
Let us know whether the equipment is still installed or has already been removed, who carried out the refrigerant recovery, plus the model, capacity, quantity, photographs and site access. Do not cut pipework or release refrigerant into the atmosphere.
Frequently asked questions
Does Ecobraz carry out de-installation?
This requirement must be flagged for assessment. Collection of equipment that has already been de-installed does not automatically include specialist HVAC services.
Where can I dispose of an old air conditioner?
The solution depends on your location and the condition of the unit. Send us the details for assessment.
